Resource management is a complex process involving legal obligations and compliance with statutory procedures and practice.

By virtue of the Act, the Council is required to enforce compliance with this Plan.

Reference should be made to the provisions and requirements of this Plan before any activity is undertaken or commenced and before an application for a resource consent is lodged with the Council.
