Section 32 material
The following are reports required in terms of section 32 of the Resource
Management Act.
The Act requires consideration of alternatives, benefits and costs of the
proposed provisions and whether they are the most appropriate for meeting the
purpose of the Act. The purpose of the Act is to promote "the sustainable
management of natural and physical resources".
These reports are listed in an order consistent with the text section of the
proposed plan.
Note: Appendices for section 32 material are not included.
Note:
The following sub-areas for the settlement areas have been incorporated into
the section 32 reports of their respective areas
- Reserve, dune and coastal margin areas (all)
- Quarry (Medlands)
- Schools (Okiwi and Tryphena)
- Visitor accommodation (Whangaparapara)
